We finally closed on the house. Those things that everyone says about closing on a house are true: a ton of paperwork, unintelligible language, money grabbing and overwhelming amount of trust in legal representation.

This isn’t to imply that everything remained perfectly legal since the shysters sellers decided they would take the new fridge and stove out of the downstairs and replace them with the 40 year old appliances from upstairs. Can’t people just be honest?

There is much to do and I’m certain even before it all starts I will feel overwhelmed, but here we go…
